Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that Dial N Search holds, including data obtained when you connect Instagram or Facebook through our Partner portal. It also satisfies Meta’s requirement for a public data-deletion instructions URL.

1. What this covers

You can ask us to delete:

• enquiry and application records you submitted on this Site;
• Partner portal account details you control;
• Instagram or Facebook connection data we stored after you authorised our Meta app (for example username, profile id, follower counts, media metadata, Page ids, and access tokens).

We cannot delete data that Meta, Instagram or Facebook keep on their own platforms. To remove an app connection there, use Instagram / Facebook settings (Apps and websites / Business integrations).

2. How to request deletion

Email contact@dialnsearch.com with the subject line Data deletion request. Include:

• the email or mobile number used with Dial N Search;
• your Instagram username and/or Facebook Page name, if you connected them;
• whether you want only the social connection removed, or the whole Dial N Search creator / agency record.

We may need to verify that the request comes from you. After verification we will delete or anonymise the requested records within a reasonable period, subject to backups, legal retention and records we must keep for tax, dispute or platform-onboarding reasons.

If you use the Partner portal, you can also disconnect Instagram or Facebook there when that option is shown. Disconnecting stops further API access; email us if you also want stored copies removed.

3. Meta / Facebook data-deletion callback

If Meta sends us a signed data-deletion request for a user of our app, we will look up that user by the Meta user id in the callback, delete stored Instagram / Facebook tokens and related social profile fields, and return a confirmation URL and code as Meta requires. Status of that request can be confirmed by emailing us with the confirmation code.

4. What we keep after deletion

We may retain a minimal log that a deletion request was received and completed (date, channel, and a non-identifying reference). We may also retain information that Indian law or a written commercial engagement requires us to keep. Those leftovers are not used for marketing.
